The radical left and Islam – a marriage heading for the rocks

The radical left and Islam – a marriage heading for the rocks

POLICIES undertaken out of spite or mischief seldom end well. The left’s obsession with changing Britain with massive unsustainable immigration is now reaching what technocrats like to call an inflection point, a smarty pants word from differential geometry which to the rest of us means change – for the left as much as anyone else. Last […]

Should we show Starmer more respect?

DO WE need to talk about each other with a little more civility? At a time of apparently widening divisions, the development of sectarian politics unknown in England since the 18th century, and the willingness of MPs to label each other racist at the drop of a TV interview, would it help if we showed a […]

Another emission of twaddle from the Met Office

I SEE the Met Office are getting involved in emissions politics again. Their press office issued this warning a few days ago: It says: ‘Rising seas are irreversible on human time scales and among the most severe consequences of climate change. Emissions released in the coming decades will determine how much coastlines are reshaped for […]

We’ve lost our names, and our identity

We’ve lost our names, and our identity

IN THE Soviet Union, place names were regarded as a bourgeois custom. Wherever possible, a rational order was imposed: health and educational facilities, for example, were simply numbered (a friend in Tambov went to ‘School 7’). Across the world, the human element is now being erased by technocracy, uprooting us from our heritage and social norms. […]

Halloween – one Irish export that should have stayed there

I’D LIKE to open with a time-honoured and universally recognised seasonal greeting. Begorrah! Top of the midnight to ya! If I was you I wouldn’t start from here, sorr. Yes, Halloween is an Irish festival, nurtured down the centuries in the Emerald Isle to spread around the world alongside other great green occasions such as […]

ou Were Made for the Sun, Not the Screen

You Were Made for the Sun, Not the Screen

Light is the force behind all life. Photosynthesis powers plants, which fuel animals, which sustain us. Without the light, we’re nothing. In Scripture, light symbolizes purity, revelation, and salvation. Christ embodies it fully. God’s first act in Genesis 1:3 was “Let there be light.” and with that our sun was created. But this life-giving light is not the light we now live in.

It turns out that our glowing screens and LED bulbs that define modern life are actually the architects of our fatigue and anxiety. They mimic the sun but lie to our bodies and flood them with signals of perpetual daylight long after darkness has fallen. This is this light we spend most of our day under.

The artificial glare is the final frontier of our synthetic world, a world of processed foods and digital fantasy, and it represents our total surrender to an existence divorced from the one God designed for us. This has become defining struggle of our time: to see past the shimmering allure of the artificial and reclaim the substantive, enduring reality that truly sustains us.

The evidence against our modern cage of light is not merely anecdotal or theological. Consider the recent findings from a recent 2025 study in JAMA Network Open, which tracked nearly 89,000 adults for eight years. Researchers discovered that the artificial glow seeping into our bedrooms at night corresponds with a staggering 56% greater risk of heart failure, alongside significantly higher rates of heart attack and stroke. The authors concluded that this constant light pollution disrupts our circadian rhythms, suppresses the God-designed hormone of rest—melatonin—and elevates stress hormones, wearing down the heart over time.

We all know this in our bones. We have all felt the spiritual hangover that follows a night spent staring into a glowing rectangle. The fatigue, the irritability, the sense of being disconnected from both God and ourselves. This is the price we pay for trading God’s design for man’s machines.

One of the easiest ways to end this disruption is to put your phone down an hour before bed. We’re flooding our eyes with high noon level blue light directly in front of our face and then we wonder why we can’t fall asleep. Try it out for one week and I guarantee you’ll see improvements in how you feel.

LEDs are everywhere. In every home, every office, every store, and even every car, creating a blinding light that makes it almost impossible to drive at night these days without feeling blinded. We are essentially running the largest society-wide experiment in history with LED lights and we are only beginning to understand the longterm consequences of flooding our bodies with blue light 24/7.

About a year ago I decided to opt out of this experiment as best I could. I replaced every LED in my home with warm, soft incandescent bulbs—the kind that glow like a campfire or a candle. The change was immediate. My evenings feel calmer. My sleep is deeper. My mornings come with more focus and less fog. It’s as if my home has exhaled, returning to the rhythm of light and dark that God designed from the beginning.

Blue light from LEDs and screens is biologically aggressive. They lack the balancing infrared wavelengths found in natural sunlight. God’s design is perfect: the sun’s full spectrum seamlessly regulates our hormones and promotes cellular repair. But in our indoor-centric lives, we are starved of this true light while being relentlessly bombarded with its distorted, man-made imitation. Our bodies are trapped in a perpetual noon. It is no wonder we are a people plagued by chronic fatigue, anxiety, and metabolic chaos.

I want to be clear that blue light itself is not the enemy per se. God made it. It is a gift of focus and vitality, designed to set the rhythm for our entire day. The problem, as always, is man’s arrogant mimicry. We have stolen this sacred daytime signal and now flood our nights with its counterfeit glare from screens and LEDs. The fight, then, is not against a color on the spectrum. It is a battle between the sun’s God-given rhythm and the machine’s perpetual, soulless noon.

Another habit I’ve embraced recently is getting outside in the sunlight within the first 20 minutes of waking. No coffee first, no scrolling mindlessly, just walking into the dawn light. Sunlight in the morning stimulates vitamin D production, boosts serotonin for mood and focus, and synchronizes your body’s clock with the sun’s natural cycle.

Spiritually, it’s just as transformative. Standing outside in the dawn quiet, before the noise of the world begins, I am reminded that the sun rises not because of human effort, but by divine faithfulness. “His mercies are new every morning” (Lamentations 3:23). The sunrise is God’s daily promise that light will overcome darkness. Depending on who is up I usually bring the kids out with me and say some morning prayers while we breathe in the crisp morning air. There is no better way to start the day.

This simple act of stepping outside has become a kind of liturgy for me. It grounds me in gratitude before I face the day’s battles. It’s not a “biohack” or wellness fad, it’s a return to the order God built into creation itself. The world sells artificial energy in the form of caffeine and blue light; God offers it freely through morning sunlight.

So before you reach for your phone or your coffee mug, step into the morning light. Let the sun strike your face. Breathe the cool air. Feel your body remember what it was made for. It’s a small act of obedience with incredible rewards and a daily reminder that the first light still belongs to the Creator, not the machine.

Our world will continue to sell you its artificial comforts with the sterile glow of the screen, the endless scroll, the perpetual twilight of the LED. It will promise you convenience while it robs you of your vitality, and offer you connection while it isolates your soul.

You have the power to refuse. You can make your home a fortress of the real: a sanctuary of warm light, deep rest, and divine order. This is not a retreat from the world, but the preparation for engaging with it from a position of strength. By reclaiming your God-given vitality, you become a beacon of clarity and health in a darkening age.

These small acts of defiance are the most powerful of all, because they are a declaration that your body is not a machine to be optimized, but a temple to be honored. They are a statement that your family is not a demographic to be marketed to in bed, but a sacred covenant to be protected. In an age of synthetic everything, choosing the real is the ultimate rebellion.

So turn off the screens. Step into the sun. Touch grass. Let the darkness be dark again. Reclaim the world God gave you, one sunrise at a time.

Temper Tantrums and Remigration Reality

Temper Tantrums and Remigration Reality

My article summarised and the 'oppostion' chastised

By Nick Griffin

‘Remigration’ - a glorious dream which will never become a reality, and which is therefore a dangerous waste of time and energy. My Sunday Substack certainly caused a fuss!

It has started a debate, which was my intention. So let’s take it further. The future of our peoples is at stake, so even people who may disagree with my conclusions need to consider my arguments, and check that their own aims are achievable.

I will in a moment summarise my key points, since I know some people won’t have had the time to read the 5,000+ word piece which has caused such waves on the British ‘far-right’. Skip to the bullet point headlines at the bottom if you’re in a hurry.

I’ve gone through the comments on my X feed. 26 of those responding were positive, and had clearly read the full article. 61 commentators were negative, and many clearly had not.

The nay-sayers were almost all of them anonymous, with about a third displaying the age division which these days serves as the knee-jerk reponse of the young far-right, in the way that class sued to divide our people. All the genuine nationalist leaders and thinkers these people idolise (Mosley, for example) reperatedly condemned class division as a malady encouraged by Communists and capitalists alike to divide the nation against itself.

As traditionalists, they would have been even more against age hatred. It is odd to see a nationalist demographic which constantly talks about the need to “tribe” then condemning tribal elders for being - er - old. I will, by the way, be returning to examine the question of what real “tribal” action by nationalists should involve in a future article here.

That said, I will make an ageist point in return. As the father of four and grandfather of eleven, I’ve seen plenty of tantrums by toddlers furious at not being allowed to get their own way. Apart from screaming, they always stamp their feet, and they are impervious to reason.

“I want it, I want it, I want it”. But however much people want something, that doesn’t mean they’ll get it. Not in real life.

When toddlers do it, the proper answer is a light slap on the back of the leg. For slightly older children there are other option, with the witholding of treats or pocket money always working well in my experience.

But what can we do when the foot-stompers are of an age when, in a healthy society, they would already have babies of their own? What can we do with these man-babies? Nothing, I fear, because they just won’t listen to “old men”, even when they speak from experience.

Which I do. Here are a couple of examples:

When the proposals for National Action first started to circulate among some youngsters within the BNP, I took them to one side and explained that they were playing with fire and that the whole thing would end up achieving nothing except demonised isolation, prison sentences and proscription, which would in effect deprivee every single person involved of the ability to participate in future initiatives.

They all had the same answer: “Get out of the way. You’ve had your chance. Now watch as we show you how it’s done.”

Ten years down the line, some of them are still in prison, several have become Muslims, and nearly all remain childless. Total failure at every level.

A couple of years later, Mark Collett moved on to found Patriotic Alternative, telling his traget audience that it would become a political party and use the slogan “We Were Never Asked” to mobilise the British people. An electoral insurgency would bring them to power shortly before the ageing native population is literally outnumbered by younger immigrants.

Not wanting to see good young people waste years with this democracy-fetish nonsense, I wrote and recorded a major piece on why there is “No Parliamentary Road” by which to save our people.

I went through the whole litany of ways in which the liberal System had cheated and blocked the BNP, just as has been done against nationalists throughout the EU. The unlevel playing field with which we had tried to contend was more than bad enough but - I argued more than five years ago - the use of Nigel Farage as a safety valve was the final, insummountable stumbling block, as was by no means over.

The entire leadership of PA nailed their colours to the electoral mast, encouraging their bright-eyed youngsters to leap into ‘groyping’ action on every platform where I set out the unwelcome truth. “You tried and failed. Gen Z will be different. Get out of our way”.

Curiously, none of them can ever explain how having someone tell you that your way won’t work stops you from trying it. Curious, that is, until you understand that these people are addicted to empty slogans and annual conferences, but allergic to sustained real life work. I was never in their way, and I’m not now; they are free to try their way, and to fail.

Only after several years of time-wasting insistence on patiently waiting for some magical future push towards electoral success did Collett - without any explanation - drop the whole idea and start recycling my arguments, telling people that the parliamentary road is blocked and that we all need to think again. Better late than never!

I was right about NA (just as, back in the mid-nineties, I was right about Combat 18). I was right about PA’s election promises. I was right about the utter folly of Collett putting the known list-leaking splitter Kenny Smith in charge of PA’s administration (the consequences of which won’t even yet have been felt by most of those whose identities are now known to their mortal enemies, although they assurely will be).

Every time my experience has allowed me to give young nationalists a warning about the folly or misdirection planned by some self-appointed ‘leader’, there have been those who have responded not by studying my advice and providing rational explanations as to how they think I am wrong. No, all they can do is scream abuse.

I keep doing it, because each time I do so, a quieter but sizeable minority - those who are quick-witted and independent-minded enough not to succumb to the blind follies of groupthink - get in touch to thank, then go off to get on with their own lives and to find things to do which are for the genuine, long-term benefit of our race and nation.

It’s for the people who can think for themselves that I sum up the reality:

My Arguments Summarised

* You Need State Power, Not the Slogans of the Powerless

The imposition of Remigration requires the capture of state power. Not by populists who use slogans about ‘deportations’ to win elections, but by ethno-nationalists who would actually try to make it happen.

* The Populists Are in the Way

The era of populism has only just begun. Some populist parties will be elected to state power and, like Giorgia Meloni in Italy, they will court public support by high-profile measures against criminals and Islamists, even as they fulfil their big business backers’ demands to increase ‘legal immigration’.

The Demographic Winter of industrial civilisation is already so far advanced that the very survival of the capitalist system relies on the continuation, indeed the acceleration, of mass immigration. The ‘Boris Wave’ was not some personal eccentricity by Johnson, it was just the shape of things to come.

* They Will Be in the Way for Decades

When the masses finally realise that Populist Party A has failed to deliver, they will turn to a liberal-left System party in the next election. When they also fail, the public will spend another five or ten years plucking up courage to vote for Populist Party B, which promises tougher action, but will inturn not grasp the nettle.

Do the electoral maths - that’s another twenty years of misplaced faith in the democratic system, twenty more years of our ageing population shrinking while the recently arrived immigrants have fewer children than their own parents, but far more than the impoverished and demoralised natives.

* The Problem is ‘Us’ as Well as ‘Them’

Even if, by some miracle, genuine nationalists were elected to power, or even managed to seize it in some other way, in order to thaw the demographic winter they would not only have to deport millions of settled, legal immigrants.

They would also have to run the country on an economic and political war footing to drive up our birth rate. They would have to keep winning elections will forcing the elderly, the homosexuals and the childless to pay through the noses to pay the drastically small cohort of young women in Gen Z and beyond to have lots of children.

Not for one five year term, or even two, but for ninety years. Because that is how long it would take a birthrate more than three times our current one to restore our population to demographic stability. The truth is that this civilisational disaster cannot be fixed by a democratically elected government. It probably couldn’t even be fixed by a dictatorship.

Some things just can’t be fixed. We can and must save our people, but we cannot save the current System. We cannot stop what’s coming, so we must work to help our people endure and outlive it.

* Coloured Revolution Threat

They would have to impose and sustain these measures in the teeth not only of united opposition by the entire left and pro-capitalist right. The liberal elite and their allies do not play be the rules and would not accept Remigration without an all-out political and street war. The nationalist government would need the power to crush mass street protests and economic sabotage by the far-left, Islamists and trade unions.

Violence on the streets and harsh repression would lead to international interference. This would range from financial warfare and trade embargoes through to what NATO did to Serbia when the Serbian army went in to help protect the remaining Serb enclaves in Kosovo, the immigrant-swamped swamped heart of their ancient homeland.

The violent attempt to frustrate the will of the people would be funded not only by Charlie Kirk’s “left-wing secular Jews”, but by the Islamic nations, the UK’s liberal establishment, the captured churches, the European Union, the American Deep State and the Rockefeller Foundation - the operation behind the Covid scam as well as the Climate Change hoax.

* Daft Counter No. 1

“None of this matters. We only have to cut off their benefits and they’ll leave,” is an argument that a few of the Foot-Stompers use. This fails to take into account the fact that many of the immigrants work, many own businesses, many of those who claim benefits do on top of having income. Even if they lost their top-up they’re far better off here than in the places to which they would be deported. Huge numbers of the illegals, furthermore, live totally outside the benefits system.

* Daft Counter No. 2

“If we have to wade through blood and the ruins of every city in the land, we will take our country back by force and no-one will stop us.” At this point, little Tarquin has given up stamping his feet and is rolling around on the ground screaming.

This vainglorious and legally very dangerous fantasy inavariably comes from boy-men who use ludicrous names and avatars, because they are terrified of being doxxed. From the comfort of their bedrooms, while mummy thinks they’re playing Dungeons and Dragons, they fill social media with 1945 Berlin fantasies.

Nerds and Pornhub addicts, most of whom are scared of girls, let alone genuinely tough immigrant ‘youts’, reasure each other that their prowess on Call of Duty will enable them to take on concentrated crowds of young Muslim men, who are already heavily armed and well-organised.

* Look at the Other Side

They already control most of our prisons and most of the UK’s criminal gangs. Their community runs most of the country’s urban taxis, so they have the ability to communicate even if the state turns off the mobile phone network, to move squads of fighters around at a moment’s notice, and to transport arms as well. Most of the foot-stompers don’t even own a car or a catapult.

The whole British Army, plus thousands of armed police, part-time soldiers and two heavily-armed loyalist terrorist militias, couldn’t control Belfast, Londonerry or the countryside around them. The shrunken army, woke police and even all the nationalist weight-lifters in Britain couldn’t control Bradford and drive its Muslims to the airport just down the road, let alone impose “remigration” on the rest of Britain.

* Impossible Demands, Failure and Demoralisation

Since remigration is not going to happen, making it your core political demand means that your people will, unavoidably, end up disappointed and demoralised. Even before that happens, they will have wasted many years pursuing a Will o’ the Wisp.

* No Time to Lose

Time, energy and money which we cannot afford to lose is being thrown away. Most of those regurgitating this unrealistic nonsense are, no doubt, well-meaning, genuine patriots, understandably horrified by the thought of our people slipping into minority status in our own ancestral homelands.

I am too. I have not “given up” - far from it. Mine is not a counsel of despair, there are so many constructive and realistic things we can do that we’re almost spoilt for choice.

* Taking Into Account Reality is NOT Giving Up

The Catholic nationalists were in the minority in Northern Ireland in the 1960s. Did their knowing this demographic reality stop tthem campaigning for justice and organising to change things? No! “Tiocfaidh ár lá!”

The Protestant loyalists are now the minority in Northern Ireland. Does their knowing this stop them celebrating their culture and identity, campaigning for their rights, dominating their areas, having children and rearing them to continue the struggle? No! “No Surrender!”

* The Positive Is Still to Come

Over the next few weeks, I will set out my positive and wholly legal proposals here, and on various video platforms. There is so much that can be done that it is really very exciting. If what I have had to say here has struck some people as “negative”, that is purely because I concluded that it is necessary to dispel myths of easy answers before people can be ready to apply their minds to real solutions.

The reaction of the Foot-Stompers to the inconvenient truth proves my point.

Message Nick Griffin

I do understand that the concept of Remigration is theoretically hugely attractive. I know that my message to the contrary is a shock to people who were basking in the rays of false hope. As such, I appreciate that people will want to ask questions and to debate this.
Accordingly, for now, I am enabling the Comments section on this article for all, free subscribers as well as my greatly valued paid supporters.
Please don’t bother to abuse this openess with insults, racist slurs, unwelcome links and similar childishness. I can and wll delete and block far quicker than you can write and post and, in the meantime, Substack is dominated by intellegent and thoughtful people, so daft comments along such lines only further make my point.
Substack is a platform for adult debate, not for foot-stomping. “Thank you for your attention in this matter!”

How immigrants soak up our social housing and benefits

HOMES provided by local authorities and housing associations are a vital lifeline for some of the most vulnerable people in Britain. Marxism – the enemy within our universities

UNIVERSITIES in Britain promote the idea that diversity is paramount while meritocracy is oppressive, enshrining this doctrine in the form of Diversity and Equity policies. Yet these beliefs are foundational to Western Marxism, an offshoot of Marxism, which is among the deadliest ideologies of all time. How did we get here? Marxism is the belief […]
