 Embracing Truth and Defying Fear

Christians are often confronted with challenges that test their faith and convictions. In the face of today’s moral ambiguity and cultural relativism it is essential for believers to stand firm in their understanding of the Truth and take bold action. Christians need to shed their fears, refuse to tolerate evil, and remember to operate within the moral framework of the Creator God.

Rejecting the Enemy’s Moral Framework

As Christians we are called to operate within the moral framework established by our Creator God. It is crucial to understand that this framework stands in stark contrast to the superficial and shifting standards of the world. While the world may promote a “moral framework” that bends to popular opinion, we are commanded to discern and adhere to God’s unchanging Truth. Embracing this perspective allows us to shed the fear of going against the societal norms and boldly proclaim the Word of God.

At the heart of the Christian moral framework lies the belief in a personal, loving, and just God who created the universe and everything in it. Christians view God as the ultimate source of moral authority whose will is revealed through Scripture and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

The Bible serves as a guidebook for moral living, presenting narratives, commandments, and parables that inform ethical decision-making. The Christian moral framework offers a comprehensive guide for people seeking to navigate the complexities of life through the lens of faith. Rooted in love, compassion, and integrity, it serves as a moral compass, guiding believers towards virtuous living and righteous action.

The phrase “fear not” or “do not fear” appears 365 times in the Bible, a reminder for each day of the year. This repetition emphasizes the importance of conquering fear and trusting in God’s guidance. Despite this clear instruction many Christians find themselves hesitant to speak the Truth boldly in a world that often rejects it. By embracing the assurance of God’s presence and promises we can overcome our fear and confidently share His Word.

For example a profound source of inspiration lies within the pages of the book of Acts, where the early Church demonstrated extraordinary courage and conviction in the face of tremendous opposition. Their unwavering commitment to spreading the Gospel and standing up for their beliefs serves as a model for Christians today. It is crucial for us to reflect upon the actions of the early church and ask ourselves if we possess the same level of boldness and dedication.

“Live and let live” is a failed cultural maxim that tolerates evil.

The popular cultural maxim of “live and let live” may seem appealing on the surface, but it fails to acknowledge the destructive power of evil. Tolerating and coexisting with evil only serves to erode the very fabric of society, culture, families, and the nation-state. We cannot afford to turn a blind eye to the forces that seek to undermine God’s principles. We must instead take a stand and boldly confront evil.

Evil encompasses a wide range of actions, attitudes, and systems that oppose God’s nature and undermine the well-being of individuals and communities. From acts of violence and injustice to deception and oppression, evil manifests itself in various forms. Christians recognize that evil is not merely an abstract concept but a real force that seeks to destroy, divide, and corrupt.

Throughout the Bible Christians are consistently called to resist evil and darkness. The Scriptures remind believers that God hates evil and commands His people to actively oppose it. Psalm 97:10 states, “Let those who love the Lord hate evil.” Christians are encouraged to be light in the midst of darkness, confronting and exposing evil in all its forms.

We can’t do that if we are afraid to boldly speak the Truth.

Christianity places a high value on Truth. Christians believe that God is the source of ultimate Truth, and Jesus identified Himself as “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). Tolerating evil often involves turning a blind eye to falsehood, deceit, and injustice. As ambassadors of Truth Christians are called to expose lies, promote honesty, and stand against deception.

We believe in the transformative power of God’s love and grace. By confronting evil, we aim to bring about redemption and restoration. Tolerating evil prevents the possibility of transformation, perpetuating cycles of sin and brokenness. We must seek to bring light and hope into dark places.

Fear of rejection or conflict often hinders believers from proclaiming the Truth boldly. We should be encouraged to trust in God’s strength and guidance, finding courage in His promises. The apostle Paul, who faced countless challenges while speaking the Truth boldly, wrote in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

We must not allow ourselves to be paralyzed by fear or swayed by the ever-changing moral relativism of the world. Embracing the moral framework of our Creator God compels us to speak the Truth boldly and unapologetically. By drawing inspiration from the early Church and recognizing the detrimental consequences of tolerating evil we can encourage one another to take bold action. Let us rise above the fear, firmly grounded in the Truth, and impact the world with unwavering faith, love, and conviction as we have been called to do.

The Escalating Persecution of Truth Tellers

I have in a number of articles explained the fate of truth tellers.  They live a high risk, low reward life. Chris Hedges explains in his article below what is happening to Matt Taibbi, formerly Rolling Stone magazine’s top attraction.  Taibbi, is a leftwinger who told the truth and was punished for doing so.  Today he is being persecuted by the IRS for reporting the Twitter files released by Elon Musk which show that the FBI pressured Twitter to censor truth tellers on every subject.

The suppression of truth is occurring everywhere in the Western “democratic” world.  Julian Assange has been in prison for a decade without due process of law simply because he reported leaked documents that revealed US war crimes and US deception of its allies.

Fox News  removed Tucker Carlson from his large audience but instead of firing him kept him under contract, paying him $20 million yearly in order to silence him.

I could go on with example after example.

Keep in mind that liberty is a modern creation dating from the Glorious Revolution in England which established the principle that the King and his government were accountable to law and the people.

The enforcement of government accountability requires free speech, so America’s Founding Fathers made free speech the First Amendment to the US Constitution which defines how we are to be governed.

Without free speech there is no justice and no liberty.  The Biden Regime is being successful in  stamping out free speech.  The media doesn’t notice. The universities don’t notice.  The law schools and bar associations don’t notice, the courts don’t notice.  Indeed, free speech, a Constitutionally protected right, is being actively suppressed as “harmful,” “offensive,” “misinformation.”

The Democrat Party, the law schools, the media, the universities and public school boards are determined to revolutionize American society.  They are achieving their goal by redefining truth as what serves their agenda.  In other words, a blatant lie can be true if it serves an elite purpose.  Expression of the real truth undermines their agenda and is demonized as “misinformation,” “Russian interference,” “domestic terrorism,” “white supremacy,” and is on the verge of being designated as a crime, as many are experiencing, including medical doctors who saved lives with Ivermectin and HCQ for the reward of having their medical licenses pulled for exposing Fauci and Big Pharma’s lie that there was no cure for Covid.

When a country’s institutions become as corrupted, as hostile to truth, as America’s–and indeed the entirety of the Western World’s–the civilization is lost.

I don’t think that I can save Western Civilization, which has already been destroyed.  But I can make readers aware that the sky is about to fall on them. If they can escape insouciance, they can be prepared.

WHO and EU Announce Global System of Vaccine Passports for Future Pandemics.

 The World Health Organisation and the European Union yesterday announced their collaboration on global digital vaccine passports at a joint press conference in Geneva.

According to the press release posted on the WHO website:

In June 2023, WHO will take up the European Union system of digital COVID-19 certification to establish a global system that will help facilitate global mobility and protect citizens across the world from on-going and future health threats, including pandemics. This is the first building block of the WHO Global Digital Health Certification Network (GDHCN) that will develop a wide range of digital products to deliver better health for all.

WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said:

Building on the EU’s highly successful digital certification network, WHO aims to offer all WHO Member States access to an open-source digital health tool, which is based on the principles of equity, innovation, transparency and data protection and privacy. New digital health products in development aim to help people everywhere receive quality health services quickly and more effectively.

Based on the EU Global Health Strategy and WHO Global strategy on digital health, the initiative follows the November 30th 2022 agreement between the EU and WHO to enhance strategic cooperation on global health issues.

“This further bolsters a robust multilateral system with WHO at its core, powered by a strong EU,” the press release states.

Thierry Breton, EU Commissioner for Internal Market, said:

With 80 countries and territories connected to the EU Digital COVID-19 Certificate, the EU has set a global standard. The EU certificate has not only been an important tool in our fight against the pandemic, but has also facilitated international travel and tourism. I am pleased that the WHO will build on the privacy-preserving principles and cutting-edge technology of the EU certificate to create a global tool against future pandemics.

According to the WHO press release, “one of the key elements in the European Union’s work against the COVID-19 pandemic has been digital COVID-19 certificates”, and now the WHO will “allow the world to benefit from convergence of digital certificates”.

The scheme is set to be expanded to include all the vaccinations covered by the ‘yellow card’ International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis.

WHO will not have access to any underlying personal data, which would continue to be the exclusive domain of governments, the press release claims.

The WHO and the European Commission will “work together to encourage maximum global uptake and participation”, it adds.

Vaccine passports are controversial, even in the United Nations, of which the WHO is an agency. On June 30th 2021, as the movement for Covid vaccine passports gained momentum, the UNESCO World Commission for the Ethics of Science and Technology and the UNESCO International Bioethics Committee released a joint statement warning that “any COVID-19 certificate should be introduced and implemented with great caution” and “should account for scientific uncertainty regarding the degree of protection that specific vaccines, past infections and negative COVID-19 test results provide”. Vaccine passports should also “not work against sustainable development”.

In light of these concerns, the UN agencies proposed that “a research programme should be developed to assess their impact on society and public health, and the risks they might bring”.

The new press release from the WHO and EU makes no mention of the progress of this research programme, or whether it has been established at all. Is it not necessary to ascertain the effectiveness and cost-benefit profile of an intervention before rolling it out globally and making it permanent?

Given how leaky Covid vaccines are, and how short-lived any protection offered by them might be – some studies even show the vaccinated suffering higher infection rates than the unvaccinated – it’s hard to imagine that vaccine passports delivered any real limitation of disease transmission. But the WHO and EU don’t appear to regard this as a relevant question to ask. Is that because they blindly assume they are beneficial, or because they have other reasons for wanting to roll out this restrictive technology globally?
