If Two-Tier Keir really thinks that the British people are stupid enough to swallow the introduction of 21st Century Stasi Digital ID with the excuse that it’s needed to stop illegal immigration, then he is either utterly out-of-touch with reality or his contempt for the indigenous people of this country is so deep that his last drops of political ability have sunk into its icy depths.
Earlier this month, the UK’s most unpopular Prime Minister ever said that digital IDs could 'play an important part' in making Britain less attractive to illegal migrants.
The Labour regime is seriously considering making imposing digital IDs on every man, woman, child in the country a centre piece of its annual conference at the end of this month.
The digital ID could be used for employment verification and rental agreements, and for accessing the NHS and whatever council services are not obliterated by municipal bankruptcies and cuts in the wake of Rachel from Accounts’ upcoming budget.
Critics of the scheme warn it will turn the country into a 'dystopian nightmare', with people forced into ID checks 'to go about our everyday lives'. To make it even more unacceptable. the scheme is already widely understood to be a halfway house to moving from cash to digital currency
‘While Downing Street is scrambling to be seen as doing something about illegal immigration, we are sleepwalking into a dystopian nightmare where the entire population will be forced through myriad digital checkpoints to go about our everyday lives’ warns Rebecca Vincent, of Big Brother Watch.
'Mandatory digital ID… will not stop small boat crossings, but it will create a burden on the already law-abiding population to prove our right to be here’.
Gracie Bradley of Liberty says that the new scheme is 'likely to be even more intrusive, insecure and discriminatory' than the Labour government's failed 2006 plan to bring in ID cards.
But there’s no need to be alarmed, because Starmer’s big new idea has no more chance of becoming law than Labour’s last attempt to impose ID cards on us all back in 2006. That was dropped by the Coalition government which came to power before the plan could be carried out.
A move by Labour to do the same again would be the absolute nail in their political coffin. At 34%, Reform are already so far ahead in the latest opinion poll that they are on course to get more votes than Labour and the Tories combined. The two old “parties of government” are currently languishing at just 16% each, and both have the potential to sink even further yet.
For Starmer to push ahead with digital ID tyranny would turbo-charge Reform’s appeal and commanding lead.
Note that I am not for a moment saying that Farage and Co. will actually save Britain, or that I support them. They will not and I do not.
I am simply pointing out political reality: The threat of digital ID, and the strident condemnation of the scheme which Farage will immediately launch, would push into his arms all the hard-core ‘conspiracy theorists’, libertarians and the barrack room lawyers of the ‘Free Man on the Land’ tendency.
Their actual numbers are not in fact huge, but these people are extremely motivated and very busy on social media, local radio talk shows and similar opinion-forming outlets.
Many of them are so hostile to, and cynical about, politicians and the pollical process that they are at present lurking among the pollsters’ “Don’t Knows”. But Starmer’s digital ID plot would unite and mobilise the whole self-opinionated and noisy crew in a desperate fight to get Labour out at the next election. And the only possible way to do that is to back Reform.
There is no Last Chance Saloon left for Labour. Even if Andy Burnham does throw his hat in the ring, manage to find a vacant parliamentary seat in Manchester, and – even less likely – to hold off Reform in the resulting by-election, then he may just keep the result at ‘disaster’ level, rather than ‘catastrophe’, but that’s as good as it’s going to get for them.
Absent a successful assassination attempt, Farage is going to walk the next general election. But if Starmer goes ahead with this most totalitarian scheme, the resulting boost to Reform will push Labour’s results from catastrophic down to the depths of political extermination.
As already noted, I don’t for one moment think that this will ‘save Britain’, but it will be enormous fun to watch. Be sure to stock up on popcorn for election night!
Utterly Changed
It will also change the British political scene beyond all recognition, and the fall-out of dashed expectations when Reform fail to deliver will open enormous possibilities for real change. A ‘terrible beauty’ is going to be born.
This will not be a time for genuine, ethno-nationalists to be spectators. Rather, it is a fast-approaching era which demands intelligent leadership, strategic vision and iron determination to do what needs to be – and can be - done.
The last ten years have shown all too clearly that none of the current crop of self-appointed nationalist leaders has any of those abilities or qualifications. Utterly changed times demand radical innovation, yet not one of them has innovated anything, and not one of them has the faintest idea of what needs to be done.
Fortunately, I do. And I’m working right now on the multi-tract plan to get it done. I’ve been quiet and working in the background for a decade, because the time wasn’t right and the people weren’t ready. But that is about to change, so I’m set to re-enter the fray. With even better focussed direction, and more radical ideas and tactics; than ever.
I am going to need your help, though, so start spreading the word: “The most successful leader in British nationalist history is coming back. Nick Griffin knows what is to be done”.
