Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he would agree to a Ukraine ceasefire

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he would agree to a ceasefire with Ukraine if the embattled nation surrendered its occupied territories to Russia.

Mr. Putin promised on June 14 to “immediately” order a ceasefire with Ukraine and begin peace negotiations if Kyiv agreed to withdraw all troops from the four regions annexed by Moscow in 2022 and renounced any plans to join NATO.

“We’re urging to turn this tragic page of history and to begin restoring, step-by-step, the unity between Russia and Ukraine and in Europe in general.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy rejected the overture, saying it was a Russian ploy to trick Ukraine into surrendering territory where it still has troops.

“What Putin demands is to give them a part of our territories, those occupied and not occupied, talking about several regions of our country,” Mr. Zelenskyy said.

To that end, Mr. Putin’s demands included Ukraine’s full withdrawal from Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, where Russian forces have failed thus far to seize control of key population centers.

Relatedly, Ukraine is not currently being considered for NATO membership, though Kyiv has expressed interest in doing so. It is unlikely that Ukraine could succeed in joining NATO, as its accession would require unanimous approval by all NATO member states including Hungary and Turkey, which are unlikely to agree to such a controversial act.

Mr. Putin’s remarks come just a day ahead of a peace summit in Switzerland which will be attended by 90 delegations from nations and international organizations around the world. Russia and its strategic partner China will not attend.

The comments also come just a day after Mr. Zelenskyy and U.S. President Joe Biden signed a security agreement, which will see Ukraine receive $50 billion in loans from the United States and its partners in order to improve its defenses against Russia.

Russia’s hesitancy about the conference stems in part from its unwillingness to show any sign of acceptance of the Ukrainian peace formula.

Mr. Putin’s conditions for ceasefire run against the primary goals of the 10-point peace plan championed by Mr. Zelenskyy, which calls for the removal of Russian troops from all occupied regions of Ukraine, including Crimea which was annexed by Russia in 2014.

The statements from Moscow do suggest something of a softening in Mr. Putin’s goals for Ukraine, however.

While Ukrainian neutrality and the annexation of predominantly Russian-speaking regions of Ukraine have been among Mr. Putin’s objectives since day one of the war, his latest comments appear to have given up on one of the war’s key objectives: the forced demilitarization of Ukraine.

Still, both the Ukrainian and Russian calls for a ceasefire are unlikely to be taken seriously by the other side, and might instead be considered the first attempts to frame the acceptable boundaries of a future negotiation.

For the United States’ part, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said at NATO headquarters in Brussels that Putin “started this war with no provocation. He could end it today if he chose to do that.”

“[Putin] has illegally occupied sovereign Ukrainian territory. He is not in any position to dictate to Ukraine what they must do to bring about a peace,” Mr. Austin said.

 I have been thinking a great deal on why myself and countless other Americans and westerners are surging to support and defend Russia. I am a fair person, I always look inward to a fault. I have been asking myself for over a year. Do I hate America? Am I such a scumbag that I truly get joy out of speaking against my home and I'm willing to back a country across the ocean?

I think I have finally figured out where our love for Russia comes from. To understand this you must first understand the state of our own countries. Starting from the top, the political class is completely corrupt. Either owned by Israel and or various lobbyists and in it simply to further the globalist agenda and get rich while selling out their own people and home. Below them is the legal system and law enforcement. I absolutely do not back the blue any longer. After the stolen election of 2020 where I watched police guard counting stations as they clearly faked votes and after I watched police enforce draconian covid restrictions I realized these men and women will do whatever they are told so long as they get paid. The very men and women the Republicans and MAGA types would passionately defend are the same ones the that oppressed us throughout 2019 to present. So then we are onto the lower and more local levels. The judicial system is corrupt, one only need look at soft on crime judges and the Trump sham trials. Culturally we are in decline, academically learning to hate yourself if you're white, being lgbtq, open borders, economy sinking, crime rampant and the only thing we even export now is terrible art, movies, music and Satanic LGBTQ ideology. The point is, the system in America, the, "beast," so to speak is literally TOO big to beat. We know deep down we don't choose our leaders, that voting is useless. We also know the people are too divided, complacent and beat down to rally, unite and overthrow the tyranny as is our history. So we are helpless, always praying some politician will come from nowhere to save us and all it requires from us is a vote. Our last saving grace is Trump, but as is obvious Trump can't even save himself from the attacks and even IF he does win, he's got only four years to turn all of this around? So, myself and others look to Russia, a land and people still strong, still moral and retaining a system, culture and heritage. Far more so than us at least. Russians trust their leaders, and governments. Of course it's not perfect, this is common sense, but it's far better than what currently exists in the west and we all feel it. Russia is the polar opposite of everything America is and everything we used to be. So in the way an old man looks at a young man in admiration, thinking to himself, "That used to be me, my time is come and gone, but him, he has a chance, and I'm rooting for him." This is how myself and others view Russia, we realize and accept that we are finished, beaten and in decline. So we look to Russia, a kind of hero to the world, and maybe, just maybe Russia will oneday save us, or inspire us to do it ourselves.

It’s disheartening to see that free speech, a principle so many claim to support, is often only valued when their own speech is at risk. As the CEO of Gab, I’ve witnessed firsthand the disparity between the number of people who claim to support free speech and those who truly do. When I started Gab I assumed tens of millions of conservatives supported free speech. They all claim they do if you ask them, but I’d estimate that only about 10% of people actually do in practice. If you’re reading this, chances are you are the 10%.

Unfortunately when many people on the right see someone say something they don’t like they go into “shut it down” censorship mode just like liberals do. We are seeing this play out first hand with Republicans in the House passing anti-Christian “hate speech” bills and red state governors like Ron DeSantis passing similar “hate speech” bills in the state of Florida. In many ways this type of legislation is far worse than anything the left has done to stifle free speech over the past four years and yet so many of the talking heads on the right are utterly silent on these issues.

The problem is everyone has a different understanding about what “free speech” actually means. Elon Musk thinks it means people having sex on camera, monetizing it via digital prostitution, and distributing to the underage kids on his app under every single reply thread.

Gab bans such debauchery outright. 

Many conservatives think it means criticizing and mocking every country, minority, and racial group—except one. In many Republican circles you can say whatever you want about Blacks and Muslims, but if you dare to mention the Jews or Israel you’ll be silenced and shunned instantly. If you’re going to allow criticism of one group you should be open to it for all groups.

Gab allows criticism and mockery of everyone without prejudice. 

 

It is a saddening realization that, for most people, the value of free speech is only truly understood when their own voice is silenced. This unfortunate reality often leads to an awakening too late, when the freedom to express oneself has already been lost. In a world where the power of ideas and the right to express them are crucial components of a healthy society, it is disheartening to see so many fail to appreciate the importance of free speech until it is no longer within their grasp.

This phenomenon is not limited to any particular group or ideology; it transcends political and social boundaries, affecting individuals from all walks of life. When one’s own voice is silenced, the true worth of free speech becomes apparent, and the desire to protect it becomes a priority. Unfortunately, by the time this realization occurs, the damage may already be done, and the opportunity to preserve the freedom of speech may be lost.

The 10% of true believers in free speech are the exception to this rule. They understand the importance of free speech and actively work to protect it, even when their own voices are not at risk. Their unwavering commitment to the principle of free speech serves as a beacon of hope in an increasingly polarized world, where the right to express one’s thoughts and ideas is under constant threat.

Free speech, despite the challenges it faces in today’s world, is far from dead. The steadfast commitment of the 10% is the driving force behind its continued existence. These individuals, who genuinely value free speech in all its forms, are the ones who keep the flame of liberty burning brightly.

The 10% understand that the principle is about more than just expressing one’s own opinions; it’s about fostering an environment in which all viewpoints can thrive. These people recognize that the true power of free speech lies in its ability to challenge societal norms, stimulate intellectual growth, and promote the exchange of ideas. By supporting platforms like Gab, they ensure that free speech remains a vital part of our cultural landscape.

Moreover, the 10% are not swayed by the pressures of political correctness or the allure of cancel culture. They stand firm in their convictions, even when faced with opposition or criticism. Their unwavering dedication to the principle of free speech serves as a testament to the enduring strength of the human spirit and the power of ideas.

Free speech is alive and well, thanks to the 10% of true believers who continue to champion its cause. Through their steadfast commitment and resilience the 10% are the guardians of liberty and the torchbearers of the future.

I am thankful for the 10% who continue to make Gab possible and shift the Overton Window in the right direction using only their words. We are up against a multi-trillion dollar propaganda machine and winning hearts and minds to our side little-by-little. We, the 10%, are history’s architects, shaping the narrative and preserving the principle of free speech for future generations.

Legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong says we are going to have a wild close to 2024.  Let’s start with Biden’s new job approval rating from Martin Armstrong’s “Socrates” program, which is now only 6% to 7%.  Armstrong explains, “It’s the old story of draining the swamp, but now, the swamp is an ocean.  This is completely crazy.  The cases against Trump show you how desperate they are here.  The reason they want Biden, and they even blocked RFK Jr. from getting on the Democrat ticket, the reason they want him is he is just a sock puppet.  He’s not really in charge.  He’s not making any decisions.”

Are the Deep State globalist Democrats panicking over the 6% to 7% Biden approval rating? Top people on both sides know this is an accurate number.  With about four months to go before the 2024 Election, are they now panicking over these dismal approval numbers?  Armstrong says, “Oh, yes, they are panicking.  I have been in politics for more than 40 years.  I know how it works.  All of a sudden, you see in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, oh, Biden is slipping behind closed doors.  That would not make the press unless they wanted it to.  They are floating a ballon to see how it goes.  All of a sudden, they want Biden to do a debate.  Before, no debates.  Why?  Because they know he’s going to look bad. . . . At the Democrat Convention, they will draft someone else, and that is most likely going to be Hillary.”

The economy and war are linked in a big way, according to Armstrong, and he explains, “You’ve got about $10 trillion of US debt that is maturing this year. . . . You’ve got Secretary of State Blinken threatening China with war.  China dumped $53 billion in US debt in the first quarter of 2024.  That means China are sellers and not buyers.  You had Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen flying to China asking, ‘Please don’t sell.’  It didn’t work.  This is why they are talking about raising the capital gains to 44%.  Why?  If nobody is going to buy the debt, that’s when default comes.  If you cannot sell the new debt to pay off the old debt, guess what?  It’s done.  This is how governments fall, and I have been warning them for decades that this is how it’s going to end. . . . This is why they need war.  This is why Europe is going into war. . . . If you cannot sell the new debt, you have to default.  If you have war, and that is what is really behind this, if you go into war, they get to default and blame Putin. . . . In November, it’s going to be Trump vs World War III regardless who is on the other side.  If you get Hillary or you get Biden, it’s the same thing.  Hillary is a neocon, and Biden says yes to whatever the neocons want.”  And the neocons clearly want war–a big one.

 The Point of Politics Is To Punish Enemies and Reward Friends

In the current political landscape it has become increasingly clear that those who refuse to wield power to punish their enemies and reward their friends do not deserve to hold political power. The unfortunate reality is that those on the right side of the aisle have failed to understand this fundamental principle and as a consequence they have failed to wield political will in a way that is necessary to restore order.

The political left has demonstrated time and time again their willingness to use power to silence, attack, and destroy their opposition. This has been exemplified in their relentless pursuit of Donald Trump, the mass deplatforming of Gab in 2019 and 2020, as well as the recent attacks on Alex Jones and the ongoing persecution of the J6 political prisoners. These are not isolated incidents, but rather a calculated strategy employed by the left to maintain their grip on power and suppress any dissenting voices.

In order for the right to effectively combat this strategy, they must recognize that politics is fundamentally about wielding power to punish your enemies and reward your friends. It is not about appeasement, negotiation, or compromise with evil; it is about crushing it. The right must adopt this mentality if they hope to regain their rightful place in the political arena and restore order to a nation that has become increasingly divided and chaotic.

Unfortunately, many on the right have failed to grasp this reality. Instead of focusing their efforts on punishing their enemies and rewarding their friends, they have chosen to pursue policies that are more palatable to the political left. A prime example of this can be seen in the recent wave of “antisemitism hate speech bills” being passed by red state governors and Republicans in Congress. These bills ultimately serve to appease the left and the Jewish donor class and do little to address the root causes of the many crucial issues at hand in this country.

It is time for the right to take a stand and reclaim political power.

This begins with a fundamental shift in mindset – one that recognizes the importance of wielding power to punish enemies and reward friends. Only then can the right hope to earn the political will necessary to restore order and create a nation that truly reflects the values and principles upon which it was founded.

Political will is the driving force behind any successful political movement. It is the determination, courage, and steadfast commitment to a cause, which ultimately leads to the implementation of policies and changes that benefit the greater good. Those who possess political will understand that power is not to be taken lightly, and it is their responsibility to use it wisely and justly.

In Romans 13:1-7, the Apostle Paul outlines the role of government as an institution established by God to maintain order and promote righteousness. He writes, “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God” (Romans 13:1). This passage emphasizes that government is a divine institution, and its purpose is to serve God’s will.

Furthermore, the Bible teaches that government has a responsibility to reward good and punish evil. In 1 Peter 2:13-14, the Apostle Peter instructs believers to “be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good.” This passage highlights the dual role of government – to punish evildoers and to praise those who do good.

It is essential to recognize that there may be instances when governments fail in their duty to reward good and punish evil; as is the case currently. In such cases, the Bible teaches that believers have a responsibility to not obey these unjust governments and to instead obey God.

In Acts 5:29, the Apostle Peter and other apostles were summoned before the Sanhedrin, a governing council of Jewish leaders, for their persistent proclamation of the Gospel. Despite being commanded to cease their activities, Peter boldly asserted, “We must obey God rather than men.” This biblical account serves as a powerful reminder that our allegiance ultimately lies with God, even in the face of opposition from human authorities.

In the present day, we find ourselves confronted by a similar challenge. A ruling council of Jewish-controlled leaders in Congress and red state governments seeks to enact laws that would criminalize criticism of their actions and stifle the preaching of the Gospel. As faithful followers of Christ, we are called to remain steadfast in our commitment to obeying God’s commandments, regardless of the potential consequences imposed by earthly powers.

It is crucial to remember that our ultimate loyalty is to God, and we must not allow fear or intimidation to deter us from fulfilling our divine purpose. As Peter demonstrated in Acts 5:29, we must stand firm in our faith and resist the attempts of human authorities to infringe upon our religious freedoms and duties.

The Bible teaches that the purpose of government is to reward good and punish evil. This divine institution is established by God to maintain order and promote righteousness. As such, governments have a responsibility to serve God’s will by upholding justice, punishing evildoers, and praising those who do good. This biblical principle underscores the importance of just and righteous leadership in the governance of nations.

Republicans have utterly failed at this responsibility.

In the face of adversity, those who possess political will do not shy away from using the power at their disposal to punish their enemies and reward their friends. This is not an act of malice, but rather a strategic move to ensure the success of their cause and the protection of their supporters. It is a fundamental aspect of political leadership that cannot be ignored.

The right must embrace the power of punishment and reward if they hope to succeed in the current political climate. By doing so, they will not only be better equipped to combat the tactics of the left but will also demonstrate to their constituents and the nation as a whole that they are worthy of the political power they seek.

Russia defying the self appointed God kings of the West

 I want to speak directly to the Russian people, leaders and Russian military. By the time you read this many of you will be waking up to the news that NATO is preparing troops and I think there is no secret as to the intentions of the west.

The installed puppet Zelensky and his regime are on borrowed time, this is no secret. In addition the Russian operations in Ukraine have been successful. The Ukrainian military has been nearly neutralized leaving only an unmotivated mass of conscripts. I say this to emphasize that the US, the west and their master know this. They realize that a loss in Ukraine would mean the beginning of the fall of the western hegemony. I know you did not expect them to go so quietly, and they are not. Russia has been a thorn in the foot of the west the entire time. Where nation after nation, country after country has bent the knee, kissed the ring and pledged allegiance to emulate and serve the US and their master, Russia has not. Russia has grown too powerful, too strong, the people too united but most dangerous of all, by far what the west fears the most is Russia is inspiring others. Russia is not just defying the self appointed God kings of the west and winning, but they are inspiring other nations to do so as well, and worse, inspiring citizens within the west to question their leaders and lifestyles. For once the world has a superpower, another titan to look to for hope and freedom. To the western leaders the very idea of Russia is dangerous. I will now reveal a very important detail no one knows yet. The escalation is planned and is multipurpose. It is not only intended to pull the west into war with Russia, to have the world unite against Russia as it did Germany in WW2, to paint Russia as THE existential threat to humanity. But it also serves as a distraction for Israel . With the eyes of the world focused on the tremendous war with Russia the world will forget about the genocide and the crimes of Israel, allowing them to freely finish the people of Palestine and to inevitably engage with Iran. Make no mistake, the timing is not accident. I must continue to speak to Russians and Russians alone, because my own people and the people of the west are asleep, they are controlled, weakened and sadly belive the lies that lead them to oblivion. Therefore my time is wasted trying to speak to my own people who still think this is simply left vs right, Democrat vs Republican and that a simple vote can remedy all of this. No, it is Russia and Russia alone that will inevitably decide history. I will now make you, the Russian people understand the burden you carry, regardless of if you know it or even if you want it. The weight of the world and freedom is upon your backs. You the Russian people and your warriors are the last thread holding the world aloft, and below it the gaping mouth of tyranny and domination. I respect Iran, I respect China and I say this with all respect but we all understand there is something unique and special about the Russian heart. This is why the west moves against Russia first, they understand that if Russia falls, the others will be far less resistance and they may not even resist at all if Russia is made an example. It is not fair, that Russia is called upon once again to rescue the world from itself. Russia, my friends that I never received the pleasure of meeting and likely never will, listen well. The barbarians are massing at the walls, as they have many times before. The weapons and tools of death differ but the intention remains the same, to see Russia turned to dust, it's ideals erased, it's history removed, the people broken and the land pillaged. I believe Russians understand what this means. Russia must be ready to do everything necessary, by all means necessary. There should NEVER be a world that exists without Russia.

As a Russian - can I ask very simple question - why US army needs to beat us?) Why - is my favorite question - it is quite useful to dig for root causes... Why US puts everything on the line and risks nuke war? Why made coup and changed president in Ukraine?
