Under Proportional Representation, the BNP Would Have 12 Seats in Parliament

Under True Proportional Representation, the BNP Would Have 12 Seats

Under a true proportional representation system, the British National Party would already have twelve seats in parliament, a leading anti-BNP academic has warned.
In a near-hysterical article published on the Public Finance magazine’s blog, Professor Ted Cantle, executive chair of the Institute of Community Cohesion (iCoCo) at Coventry University, said that other political parties dismissed “concerns about migration and the impact on local services as ‘ignorant’ or ‘racist’ at our peril.”
According to Professor Cantle, the ConDem “plan to cap annual immigration is just a scratch on the surface of a much larger and more fundamental issue for the UK and its local communities.
“In 2001 the British National Party picked up just 47,000 votes, and by 2005 it had grown to 192,000,” he wrote.
“This year it was 563,000 — far from the collapse in support suggested by reporting on the general election result and the focus on the defeat for BNP leader Nick Griffin.
“Under a proportional representation system, for example, the BNP would now have 12 seats in parliament,” he continued.
“Based on a new analysis by iCoCo . . . this appears to be part of a genuine trend of gathering support that threatens the stability of the UK.
“Increased population numbers and changes in the composition of local populations have increased pressure on local services, and these have to be understood and addressed,” Professor Cantle wrote, going on ot make the usual string of allegations against the BNP.
“There is a danger in regarding the BNP as a spent force. They lost ground because of campaigns to oppose them on the ground in places like Barking and Dagenham, but also all the minority parties were squeezed by the media focus on the three main parties, especially around the televised debates.
“That may not be the case next time. We have to recognise they do tap into real concerns, as the ‘bigoted woman’ incident showed and we need more debate, not less, to answer these concerns.”
* The “Alternative Voting” system upon which Britain will be asked to vote next May is not true proportional representation and has been identified by the Electoral Reform Society as producing even greater distortions than the current first-past-the-post system.

Third World Culture Accompanies Third World Immigrants to UK

Third World Culture Accompanies Third World Immigrants

The rise in forced marriages — estimated to be in the region of 10,000 every year, of which 20 percent involve male victims — is yet more evidence that Third World culture has been imported into Britain along with Third World immigrants.
In a disturbing display of the simple truth that a culture is merely the reflection of a people, and that cultures change when the population changes, the incidence of forced marriages in Britain has risen sharply along with the rise in the number of immigrants.
The numbers are so high that the Government has set up a special unit, Forced Marriage Unit (FMU), whose sole job is to “combat” forced marriages.
The FMU’s work is of course hampered by the ever increasing numbers of Third World immigrants pouring into the country.
According to figures released by the FMU, the “majority of cases involve families from South Asia, particularly Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.”
The unit says it estimates that there are 10,000 incidents of forced marriage involving “British nationals” each year and that up to 20 percent of the victims are males.
According to the FMU, it received more than 220 messages from male victims in 2009, an increase from the 134 reported the previous year.
Male immigrants are forced into marriages for “family commitments and expectations, securing visas or the desire to control behaviour and protect a family's reputation.”
Apparently the latter reason means that the immigrant families suspect that the males in question are homosexual.
The FMU went on to warn social workers to be on the lookout during summer when incidents of forced marriage increase as the immigrants visit their countries of origin for holidays. There, the forced marriages are either sought or concluded.
Professionals working with young people were urged to be vigilant during summer, a time when incidents increase.
According to the RMA, victims of forced marriages are compelled or tricked into going back to their countries of origin.
Those who refuse, the FMU said, are “often locked up, subjected to physical and sexual violence and forcibly removed to other countries if they refuse to comply with their families' wishes.”
The existence of this problem in Britain today is proof that culture and identity is not something which can be taken off like a coat and left at an airport gate, as British National Party MEP Andrew Brons said recently in the European Parliament.
“Third World cultures are like overcoats that can be taken off at the port of entry and replaced with a European cultural overcoat that can be issued with residence and citizenship papers,” Mr Brons said.
“The children of such immigrants are allegedly as European as the indigenous population. They’re not. Distinctive cultures are made by distinctive peoples and not the other way round.
“We are not the products of our culture; our cultures are the products of our peoples.
“Replacing Europeans with people from the Third World will mean that Europe will be replaced by the Third World. Europe is slowly but steadily being ethnically cleansed of Europeans,” Mr Brons said.

Being English ?

Being English

England players Ashley Cole and Ledley King leaving South Africa following England's humiliating 4-1 defeat by Germany, their expressions revealing what their country means to them.

Meanwhile English fans make their way home

On a related subject, readers may remember the outcry last year when ex-BNP publicity Officer Mark Collett and Joseph Barber from Great White Records stated in an interview that the same Ashley Cole was "not ethnically English". So, it is interesting to note Ashley Cole's own views on the English reported here and here.

Londons Cockneys become First Victims of the Immigration Invasion Genocide

Cockneys become First Victims of the Immigration Invasion Genocide

Cockneys have become the first victim of the immigration invasion genocide perpetrated against the British people and are set to vanish completely from the streets of London, a new study has revealed.
According to a study entitled Multicultural London English: the emergence, acquisition and diffusion of a new variety, due to be published in early 2011, the 500-year-old Cockney accent “will be replaced by Multicultural London English - a mixture of Cockney, Bangladeshi and West Indian accents.”
The study’s author, Paul Kerswill, Professor of Sociolinguistics at Lancaster University, said that the distinctive and uniquely British accent “will be gone within 30 years.”
The study, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, said the Cockney accent is being replaced in London by a new hybrid language called Jafaican.
"Cockney in the East End is now transforming itself into Multicultural London English, a new, melting-pot mixture of all those people living here who learnt English as a second language," Prof Kerswill was quoted as saying.
As a measure which underlines the approaching extinction of the dialect and culture, an arts centre in King’s Cross has asked Londoners to talk to elderly relatives and contribute Cockney poetry and phrases to an archive.
The 30 years scenario spelled out by Professor Kerswill is the time period that it will take for the last of the existing genuine Cockneys to die out.
Traditionally, a cockney was someone born within earshot of the Bow Bells, but in reality, almost the entire East End of London was regarded as cockney. The traditional core districts of the East End are Bethnal Green, Whitechapel, Spitalfields, Stepney, Wapping, Limehouse, Poplar, Millwall, Hackney, Hoxton, Shoreditch, Bow and Mile End — all of which have been heavily colonised by Third World immigrants.
London had a relatively young population, the highest proportion of non-white British ethnic origin, with a constant inflow of new migrants from abroad.
The city received 160,000 international migrants in 2007, equivalent to 2 percent of its population and is the second largest region in terms of total population, accounting for 12 percent of the UK total.
London’s age structure also differs from the UK’s, the population tending to be younger than in the country as a whole.
In 2007, 7.0 per cent of the population were children aged under 5, compared with 5.9 per cent in the UK, and 44 per cent were in the age band 20 to 44 compared with only 35 per cent of the UK population.
A third of all Londoners were born outside the UK, compared with 12 per cent of the population of the UK, and it has 40 per cent of all foreign-born residents in the UK.
A 2007 report showed that whites were already a minority in many of London’s schools. According to figures released by the Department for Children, Schools and Families, 15 percent of primary school pupils were classed as white British, while 63 per cent of their classmates come from Bangladeshi families. The number of whites is likely to have decreased in the intervening three years.
In Newham, just under 12 percent of primary pupils were white British, while the figure in Brent's secondaries is seven percent, compared with 36 per cent who are classed as Asian, and 24 per cent black.
The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, adopted by Resolution 260 (III) A of the United Nations General Assembly on 9 December 1948 states that genocide “means any of the acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethical, racial or religious group, as such:
“2c: Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life, calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part.”
The systematic destruction through immigration of the British people is nothing less than genocide.

Election and Referendum Chaos Coming To A Ballot Box near You

Election and Referendum Chaos Coming To A Ballot Box near You!

Author John Of Gwent

Remember when "electoral reform" was the
way Labour would save itself from extinction?
GA's article below citing the report by Ted Castle in the "Public Finance" site set me thinking.
Is it any coincidence the people of Wales face not one but three sets of ballot papers next year ?
Of course it isn't. The hope is that the people will be so weary of turning out three times they won't bother, and the arguments over three separate trips to the ballot box, and three separate set of school closures, are already being rehearsed. Look at this page on the BBC site whingeing that schools are being forced to close too often already.
So why three trips to make your mark ?
Well, the first is the ultimate waste of time that is Cameron And Clegg's presentation Of Gordon Brown's Survival Plan. Gordon, as you know, based his master plan to stay in Number Ten on the parable of the talents - that strange biblical tale whereby to he who has everything shall more be given, while from he who has nothing shall even that nothing be taken away and given to him who has.
A bit like that verse in All Things Bright and beautiful :-
The Rich Man In His Castle, The Poor Man At His Gate,
God made them high and lowly, and ordered their estate
We used to sing that in Assembly when I was in Infant school under a Tory Government - but for some reason under Harold Wilson that verse vanished from the school assembly - I wonder why ? Surely Labour could see God had ordained that there would be rich, and poor, and that was how it was, for ever and ever amen ? (!!!)
But I digress.
Back to Brown's AV Westminster voting system. A scam well suited to a man who called himself a "son of the manse". Brown proposed to throw the existing system away and replace it with one in which the last candidate in any election had their votes stolen and handed to the others, whom the voter had not wanted, until one of them in the list could say, with utter falseness of course, that they were elected by more than 50% of the electorate.
The truth is that the Alternative Vote system is actually LESS representative than what we have now.
But how typical for a control freak of a failed ex leader of a failed ex government that such a travesty of a system should be presented as a fairer way of doing things. By the way here is an analysis of what it would have meant at the last election.
Now the funny thing is, The Con Dem Tricksters have picked up this failed plot and propose to run with it.
GOD KNOWS WHY
Cameron is on record as saying he will vote AGAINST the measure when his own government introduce it to the Commons. And the party that elected Clegg as their leader reject it out of hand, demanding truly proportional representation instead as the only acceptable voting reform. Which has forced Lib-Dem diehards into some of the most spectacular back-pedalling I have seen since the days when their party only made it to the headlines when they referred to labradors and shotguns.
So that is the first disaster wales face nest year, and it may be the iceberg that may sink Cameron and Clegg's Titanic. Which of them will take the part of DiCaprio, and which of them puts on the dress to play Kate Winslett remains to be seen, but I can hear the sound of deckchairs being rearranged so as to better hear the band already.
So what will be the second trip to the ballot box then ?
Why, it's the Plaid Curry Independence Roadshow. The demand that the eleventh EU region of what used to be called the United Kingdom get full powers of legislature and no longer have to get them in drips from a man who looks like he's got a strange suntan, or a woman who looks every inch the dithering fuddy duddy grandmother.
And the third is of course the Welsh Assembly Elections themselves, whose PR system will see at least three of our people take their rightful place at the table this time, and see the turncoat shia islamist Mohammed Asghar, who discards political allegiances like you and I discard yesterday's shirt into the laundry basket in favour of a freshly ironed one to face the new day, thrown into Cardiff Bay where he belongs.
But already the siren voices are clamouring. The politicians, realising the vote on whether you want more powers all at once or drip by drip as they are at the moment, clashes with the Assembly Election itself, call for a delay to the Election. Denying the people their rightful say in disposing of the has-been government in Cardiff the same way they chicked Brown out of Downing Street
And now it seems those two also clash with the Cameron/Clegg showdown.
Oh de

Moslem call to Rise Up in Cardiff 10th July

Ummah-Rise
You can bet the Black Flags of the Cult Dead Paedophile will be flying in Cardiff, South Wales on the 10th of July, because moslem sites are calling for a demonstration to "protest" and to "defend" the symbols of their sick cult on that date.

Demonstration to defend the symbols of Islam
Date: Saturday, July 10, 2010
Time: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Location: Gathering point @ city hall, cathays park, cardiff, cf10 3nd

If you listen to the following video that Berte Bert has kindly copied from their web site you will see that their intentions are somewhat different to their claims that this demonstration is to be a peaceful protest and that they will not allow any symbols of Britain, only symbols praising Allah and promising tickets to paradise to all who rise up against the "dirty Kuffar".

Alhumdulillah Allah has blessed us with the ability to speak, so join us Inshallah at a demonstration to defend the symbols of Islam and the honor of the prophet (saw). Speak out and let your voice be heard let be known that no longer will you tolerate the attack on Islam, that no longer will you tolerate the banning of the symbols of Islam.

Soon the British People will awaken to the fact that it is more than just the loss of their country that they are facing.  Please God, let them awake in time.

The Scorpion and the Frog or Islam and Labour

The Scorpion and the Frog or Islam and Labour

Author Horwich Nationalists
For all you Labour supporters who think
that you have the Islamic vote in the bag
and that it can be utilised at will,
word of warning! you think that you have a ally
in the Islamist community that can gain you victory in elections.
 But I would remind you
of how it was put in Aesop's Fables about choosing your friends
 and putting your lives
and the future of your children in
their hands!

The Scorpion and the Frog

A scorpion and a frog meet
on the bank of a stream
and the
scorpion asks the frog to carry him across
 on its back.
 The frog asks,
"How do I know you won't sting me?"
The scorpion
says, "Because if I do, I will die too."

The frog is satisfied, and they set out,
but in midstream,
the scorpion stings the frog.
The frog feels the onset of
paralysis and starts to sink,
 knowing they both will drown,
but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"

Replies the scorpion: "Its my nature..."

So in effect you foolish marxist fools
will perish at the handsof your
allies inbuilt nature!

Unemployment to Soar But British People Put Last: 25% of All Jobs in Britain Filled by Non-Indigenous Workers

British People Put Last: 25% of All Jobs in Britain Filled by Non-Indigenous Workers

The British National Party’s claim that immigration hurts job prospects for British people has been confirmed with new figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) which show that an astonishing 25 percent of all jobs are now filled by non-indigenous workers.
The shocking figures also showed that in London, non-indigenous workers accounted for up to 70 percent of all jobs in many areas.
In the borough of Newham, where work has been most plentiful due to the location of the Olympic site, seven out of every 10 jobs are filled by workers not born in Britain.
Some 65,100 out of the 93,700 posts there are filled by foreigners, despite government promises that the Olympics would provide employment for local people.
There are nine council areas with 40 percent and above workers from outside Britain and 13 areas with 30 percent and above non-British workers.
In addition, the ONS figures showed that non-indigenous workers hold 20 percent of the jobs in 22 other council areas of London.
Outside London, the areas where the largest numbers of jobs are taken by immigrants are Slough, Leicester, Luton, Reading, Cambridge, Manchester and Oxford.
According to official Government figures issued on 15 June 2010, the unemployment rate stands at 7.9 percent, up 0.1 percent over the quarter and 0.6 percent over the year.
In real terms, this means that unemployment in February to April was 2.47 million,   up by 23,000 on the quarter and 192,000 from a year previously. The claimant count for key out-of-work benefits was 1,481,100 in May.
This figure does not include the officially defined “economically inactive” segment of the UK population, which is estimated to be in excess of 8 million.
* According to the ONS, legal migration into Britain in 2008 was as follows:
Total: 590,000
UK citizens: 85,000
EU nationals: 198,000
Rest of the world: 307,000.
These figures do not include illegal immigration or “asylum seekers,” and as such are a underrepresentation of the facts.

Kenneth Clarke Worst Home Secretary Ever Says CIVITAS

Kenneth Clarke Is “Worst Home Secretary Ever” Says CIVITAS

If Home Secretaries are judged by the amount of crime during their time in office then Kenneth Clarke must rank as the worst Home Secretary ever, CIVITAS think tank director Dr David Green has said.
Writing in a briefing note called “The Potential Consequences of Kenneth Clarke's Crime Policy,” Dr Green drove home the savage attack on the Tory Home Secretary by pointing out that Mr Clarke “held the office from April 1992 to May 1993 when crime was higher than it had ever been before and has ever been since.”
Dr Green, formerly of the Institute of Economic Affairs, went on to say that from Mr Clarke’s “comments this week, he has learnt little from his time at the Home Office in the 1990s.
“He now argues for reducing the prison population by lowering the number of offenders sentenced to prison and reducing long sentences. Why, he asks, is the prison population twice what it was when he was last at the Home Office in 1993?
“His time at the Home Office coincided with the highest police-recorded crime figures ever, and the increase was in large measure the result of the policies he and his predecessors pursued,” Dr Green said.
“Repeat cautions were preferred to custody, the 1991 Criminal Justice Act required judges to give less weight to previous convictions when sentencing criminals, car theft had been downgraded in importance and early release at the half-way stage of sentences under four years was made automatic.
“Despite huge increases in crime the average prison population was reduced from nearly 50,000 in 1988 to 44,500 in 1993. Recorded crime surged by over 20 percent during the early 1990s, from 4.544 million crimes in 1990 to 5.592 million in 1992. It took until 1997 to get it back down to 4.598 million by putting an additional 15,000 career criminals behind bars,” he said.
The briefing paper pointed out Mr Clarke’s core strategy of releasing criminals and cutting the prisons budget would be a false economy.
“If Mr Osborne is tempted by Mr Clarke's offer to cut the prison budget, he should realise that cutting the £2.2 billion cost of the prison service would be a false economy,” Dr Green continued.
“From time to time the Home Office has made estimates of the total social and economic costs of crime, including the insurance and security measures we have to pay for, the cost of personal injuries and lost property, and the additional costs to the criminal justice system of allowing repeat criminals the freedom to carry on offending.
“What would be the cost of releasing a criminal from jail who would otherwise be committing offences. The total social and economic cost of crimes against individuals and households in 2003-04 was £36.2 billion and there were 12.168 million crimes against individuals and households, an average cost of £2,972 per crime.
“A Home Office survey of offenders being admitted to prison in 2000 found that they committed on average 140 crimes per year. If the average cost of each crime was £2,900 then the total annual cost would be £406,000. Compared with the cost of prison the saving is vast.
“The annual cost of a prison place in 2008-09 according to the prison service annual report was £29,561. But £406,000 is the cost to society as a whole. What about the cost to the Government?
“Twenty percent of the total social and economic cost was incurred by the criminal justice system, £7.1 billion, including the cost of policing and processing and re-processing offenders through the courts. The average cost per crime just counting those costs would be £594, which means that the annual cost to the criminal justice system of an offender carrying out 140 crimes per year would be £83,200.
“Much of the health care cost in patching up people who have been harmed by criminals would also fall on the NHS, estimated at another 7 percent by the Home Office, a total annual cost of £2.4 billion — on its own more than the total cost of the prison service (£2.2 billion).
“Another 12 percent was the result of lost output, £4.3 billion. If criminals are released and crime increases the lost output would reduce tax revenues,” Dr Green said.

ConDem Government Abandons Yet another Tory Election Promise

ConDem Government Abandons Yet another Tory Election Promise

The ConDem coalition government has abandoned yet another Tory election promise, this time the one which undertook to bar immigrants unless they had a command of English.
The promise was a major part of the Conservative Party’s election campaign in the completely false assumption that speaking English would turn a Congo pygmy into an Englishman.
However, even this absurd presumption has been thrown away, like almost all other Tory election promises, with the ruling by Home Secretary Theresa May that the families of asylum seekers will be exempt from the rule.
The announcement was made on the quiet in a written Commons reply last week which said: “The new language requirement will not apply to dependants of refugees and people granted humanitarian protection in the UK.”
The reason for the ruling is directly attributable to Britain’s membership of the European Union.
The demand that asylum seekers speak English breaches Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, which gives everyone “the right to a family life.”
It was to fit in with this EU rule that the previous Labour regime introduced the Human Rights Act (which the Conservatives also promised to repeal, another promise which they threw out the window).
It is therefore possible for an asylum seeker to argue that their right to a “family life” is greater than the demand that they speak English.
As such, the EU court can override any rule made by a British court.
Although the Tories will now claim that they have no choice but to accept this “exception” to their rule, the reality is that all objective observers knew all along that this was an impossible promise to fulfil.
Membership of the EU compels Britain to abide by that organisation’s rules and laws.
The Conservatives’ promises to repeal the Human Rights Act, “roll back EU power” and force immigrants to speak English are all impossible to achieve while Britain remains a member of the EU.
All of this is obvious from the briefest reading of the Lisbon Treaty, which forces observers to one of only two conclusions:
1. The Tories really did not know, and they are incompetent fools; or
2. The Tories do know what the situation is, and they deliberately lied to the public.
Either way, the verdict on the Tories is equally ghastly.

Who is caring for our elderly in Bolton ?

June 2010

Who is caring for our elderly?

Our town’s so called independent newspaper the Bolton News has given some attention to the story about two foreigners previously convicted of fraud who have been employed as care workers. This has been allowed to happen by means of a government funded scheme being run by Bolton Council called ‘New Chance’.

Some people have voiced concern that employing ex-criminal to care for vulnerable people is inappropriate, and that Criminal Records Bureau [CRB] checks are supposed to stop this happening. But the reality is that CRB checks can not identify the backgrounds of a great many people who are providing care for our elderly.

The reason for the huge loophole in CRB checks is down to the Home Office. When, for instance an asylum refugee wants to apply for a job in a care home it is in most cases impossible for the CRB to do a check on that individual: let’s face it if a foreigner is telling us they have been persecuted by a regime or political system how can we grant them asylum and then ask their persecutor if our new found refugee has a criminal record. In cases like this the Home Office supplies a letter, removing the requirement for CRB checks to be carried out.

As someone who has had quite a lot of first hand contact with care homes I know that there are many refugees working in these homes and for agencies. Now the question is; how can the Home Office know that these people are not ex-criminals, how can the Home Office know that these people will not harm or have not already harmed elderly people.

For some time I have been in pursuit of answers to these questions, but as so often is the case it seems someone in the Home Office and the Bolton News believes that the BNP are best ignored.

Political Correctness Gone Mad! It Is Now a Criminal Offence to Call Someone a “Coconut

Political Correctness Gone Mad: It Is Now a Criminal Offence to Call Someone a “Coconut”

The unfathomable depths to which political correctness has plunged Britain has been underlined with a court ruling that it is now a criminal racial offence to call someone a “coconut” in public.
The astonishing decision was made by Bristol Magistrates' Court after a Jamaican-origin black city councillor, Shirley Brown, referred to an Asian Tory councillor as a “coconut” during a council debate in February last year.
Although Ms Brown did not specify what she meant, she said in the council chamber that her “community” would understand the meaning of calling someone a coconut.
In the black community, to call someone a coconut means that that are black or brown on the outside, but white on the inside — in other words, they are traitors to their people and side with whites.
The Indian-born Tory, Jay Jethwa, had earlier in the chamber called for the £250,000 annual grant to fund “ethnic minority groups” to be halted.
Ms Brown, a proud Liberal Democrat, was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £620 costs after being convicted of “inciting racial hatred” against Mrs Jethwa.
District Judge Simon Cook said that he was “satisfied there was a risk to public disorder and stimulation of racial hatred” even though there was absolutely no evidence that any racial hatred had erupted or been caused as a result of the comment.
The issue here is not whether two immigrants seek to lambaste each other over whether there should be funding for a ceremony to mark the 200th anniversary of the ending of the slave trade or not.
The real issue here is that political correctness has reached such impossible levels that even a mild and humorous comment such as calling someone a coconut can now be classed as a criminal offence.
Where will it end? And what meanings will be attached to other fruit sorts in the future? Will it be illegal to call someone a banana because they get blacker with age?
This is an extremely dangerous precedent to set, and one which needs to be opposed by all sane and rational people, no matter what their political party.
It is nothing less than an attack on the very principle of freedom of speech and democracy, and one more step towards George Orwell’s predicted totalitarian state.

How Domestic Budget Cuts Will Affect You:r Bolton Welfare

How Domestic Budget Cuts Will Affect You: Welfare

The domestic spending cuts — which are in marked contrast to the increased spending on foreign aid, EU membership and the war in Afghanistan — will directly reduce the quality of welfare services provided to the British people and place additional strain on the NHS.
A report in the latest issue of the British Medical Journal, authored by a combined research team under the leadership of University of Oxford lecturer Dr David Stuckler, warned that “ordinary people may be paying the ultimate price for budget cuts.”
According to their study, analysis of European data showed that a £70 reduction in welfare spending per person is associated with a 2.8 percent rise in alcohol-related deaths and 1.2 percent rise in deaths from heart disease.
The study was released in the wake of a ConDem announcement that there would be reductions in tax credits for families, housing benefit and maternity grants.
The new study looked at the effects of welfare funding on health and analysed government spending in 15 European countries, including the UK, from 1980 to 2005.
The researchers found without exception that when social spending — including support for families and the unemployed — was high, death rates fell, but when they were low, rates rose substantially.
“For every £70 drop in spending per person, there is a 1.19 percent rise in overall deaths,” the report said, adding that the biggest effect was seen in illnesses linked to social circumstances, such as heart disease.
This is specific to social welfare spending and completely independent of healthcare spending.
The analysis also showed that reducing other forms of government spending, such as on the military or prisons, had no such negative impact on the public's health.
Dr Stuckler said in the report that although governments may feel they are protecting population health by safeguarding the healthcare budgets, welfare spending may actually be more important.
He also warned that the added burden of poor health linked to welfare cuts could place more strain on the NHS.
"So far the discussions around budget cuts have largely focussed on economics,” Dr Stuckler said.
"But social circumstances are crucial to people's health and our study shows there could be quite significant harms.
"If we want to promote a sustainable recovery in Britain, we must first ensure that we have taken care of people's most basic health needs."
Once again, the British people are put last.

The Guardian is salivating over the fact that Nick Griffin MEP BNP and two other BNP officials could have their assets seized which includes the BNP Chairmans MEP salary, investments, pensions and property they own for contempt of court.  The Guardian shamefully announces these dreadful and undemocratic threats in this way.
The case shows that no political party is above the law.
Indeed the law should be, that no matter how high, no person is above the law.  But the law in this case is being used to silence the voice of the British People and those that use and abuse the law to attempt to silence the British National Party will one day be brought to trial, judged and if found guilty and if there is any justice.  Hung for the rats they are.

The Guardian also seems to have a problem with people of any descent or origin only being allowed to join the BNP if they; "agrees with or supports or does not oppose or does not disagree with the principles of our party".

Now what sort of warped mind has a problem with the above?  People do tend to join a political party because they support their principles not oppose them.  By their warped logic, I should be allowed to join the Labour Party even thought I totally disagree with everything they stand for and would destroy it in an heart beat if given the chance.

Perhaps that is what the entire membership of the BNP should do.  Join enmass the Labour Party and return it to the party it was when first created.  One that cared about British Workers instead of the self seeking politicians own pockets who are its masters now.

They also have a huge problem with the BNP
maintaining the "integrity of the indigenous British" and "restoring and maintaining" the indigenous British as "an overwhelming majority"
These mad marxist bastards find that, the wish for the British People to continue to exist, as being offensive to possible non-indigenous members as this would deny them their racial and cultural identity.  So f++k the British racial and cultural identity because they are no longer allowed to have an identity any longer.

And it is easy to see why the marxist would have a problem with new BNP members being welcomed into the Party by two BNP officials.  How much better to let nutcases, state agents, red provocateur join the party without check, so they can be used to bring the party into disrepute or destroy it from within.

Any person who cares about democracy must see that what the EHCR are doing here is morally wrong, if not downright illegal.  Regardless of whether you love or hate the BNP you must, if you care about Freedom of Speech and democracy help stop the EHCR dead in their tracks.

Radio Red, White and Blue Interview with Richard Barnbrook on Goresbrook By-Election

Richard Barnbrook AM has called upon all activists to help out with the upcoming Goresbrook by-election in a breaking news interview with Radio Red, White and Blue.
“The response on the door is very positive,” Mr Barnbrook said. The by-election was called after the trade union supporter Labour candidate resigned only a matter of days after the election.
A quietly confidant but realistic Mr Barnbrook appealed for supporters to come down to Barking and Dagenham this weekend, for which accommodation is available.
Goresbrook ward was held by Mr Barnbrook until May this year and although the party is facing an uphill battle, he is determined to show that the BNP has not gone away.
Mr Barnbrook provides further details in the interview, conducted this morning, which can be found at the Radio RWB website’s breaking news section. Click here.

How Domestic Budget Cuts Will Affect You: Health Services

The domestic spending cuts — which are in marked contrast to the increased spending on foreign aid, EU membership and the war in Afghanistan — will directly reduce the number of healthcare professionals available to serve the British public.
According to the British Medical Association, the NHS faces “devastating cuts to jobs and patient services as the Government’s austerity drive hits the health service.”
A survey carried out for the BMA and recently released to the public found that “thousands of doctors and nurses face being made redundant or not replaced if they leave, while many hospitals have cut treatments.”
The BMA researchers asked 361 doctors, who between them represent committees at all of Britain’s hospital trusts and some larger primary care trusts, how the NHS was being affected by the demand to make £20 billion of cuts.
Around 43 percent of respondents confirmed that there was a “freeze” on doctor and nurse recruitment, despite increasing demand for services.
Another 40 percent of respondents said that patient treatments, including varicose vein operations and blood tests, were being “rationed.”
According to doctors in Bedfordshire, instructions have also been given not to refer patients with certain ailments, such as skin lesions and cysts, to hospitals “except in exceptional circumstances.”
Furthermore, the BMA said that 25 percent of respondents confirmed that their NHS Trust was planning to make workers redundant.
Chairman of the BMA, Dr Hamish Meldrum, said in the report that “Whilst we accept that difficult decisions need to be taken in this tight financial climate, there is a real danger that cutting back on health now will have a long-lasting impact on our ability to maintain high-quality, comprehensive and universal care in the future.”
The Royal College of Nursing said earlier this year that about 5,600 jobs were under threat across 26 hospital trusts. In a “worst case scenario”, the true figure could be as high as 30,000, it said.
* Figures from the NHS Information Centre, released in August last year, said that the health service was already facing “unsustainable pressure" as it struggled to recruit nurses and hospital doctors.
The figures, which analysed jobs unfilled as of March last year, found that 5.2 percent of all NHS medical posts, which includes hospital doctors and dentists, were vacant, up from 3.6 percent the previous year.
The proportion which had been vacant for three months, considered an indication of hard-to-fill posts, was 1.5 percent, up from 0.9 percent.
Vacant midwife positions also rose, from 2.1 to 3.4 percent. Of those, 1 percent were long-term vacancies, up from 0.8 percent.
The Royal College of Midwives (RCM) has previously warned that England already needs an extra 5,000 midwives to provide an acceptable level of care.
